5 Hologram Laser Pet Toy

Our cat is stuck inside most of the winter since she dislikes snow. Ruby gets grouchy and gains weight. But now that we have the laser thingie, she races up and down the hallway, scrambles high speed in circles that make her roll over with dizziness, then gets up to leap at the walls. She is so into this toy that she bugs us each night to play with her.

My cat loves this. She very quickly learned that I was the one controlling the image and every time she wants to play she'll go and nudge the device and look at my hand.

She doesn't seem to respond very well to the smiley face or star option --- I think they're harder for her to see. The other three shapes more than compensate for that failing.

I only wish the batteries would last longer. It's cheaper just to buy a new laser toy than replace the batteries.

I wasn't certain if she would like this toy or not, but she absolutely loves it. She chases it all over the house and up the walls (or tries to anyway).

One small problem with it, which isn't much of a problem at all, is that my dogs don't care about it at all. The advertising said that dogs like it, but mine couldn't care any less. Which is actually a good thing since the cat and the dogs would be fighting over it if they all liked it.

In short, perfect for getting your cat some much needed excercise.

This laser looks fun and most dogs respond; however, if you read about lasers being used for dogs, you'll see that it promotes OCD.

I ordered two. The one pictured in the ad arrived and so did one with the batteries stored inside of the laser. The one pictured works fine, but the one with the batteries already inside did not work at all. They both were the same exact product, but I guess the company realized that the batteries needed to be stored outside or they will die. This product uses what look like to be watch batteries. Which is a pain for finding replacement batteries when they die. Spend a little bit more and get some thing that uses AA or AAA batteries. You be happier in the end.

I bought the item, and as soon as I opened the packaged I was wondering if it was going to work and if so, how long it would last. Needless to say, after about 2 hours of use, the item just stopped working. I beleive it had something to do with the cheap button used to turn the product on. Yes, it was a cheap toy to buy price wise, but I guess I got what I paid for.
