Some new tight cuts (5 star review)
This record es filthy partly 'cause it from my right hand man 2-pac and because this is just a straight up happening. The tracks are live and the new stuff es not to dissapiont. This is 2-pac at the height of his greatness and his royality. We should mourn his death with misery, ya no he will let go free. He is what Bob Marley was ta his era. A savor from oppression and hunger in a unracially even world. We need to stop the killin' and embrace the love of this music. 2-Pac loved rap like it was his son. He helped difine what it is today. Let us be thankful for that. He keeps the spirit a live with this straight killer cd.
a collection of well mastered songs (5 star review)
This double cd is a magnificent collection of the work of the late tupac shakur.Although tupac has had many successful songs throughout his musical career this album is an appropriate represanative of the various works of this legendary rapper. The album concists of uplifting recordings such as "california love" and "how do you want it" and also dramatic and inspiring songs such as "life goes on " and "dear mama".

I am sorry but 2pac is no way the best rapper ever. That's 50 cent for sure. 2pac is wack compred to 50 cent.
Overrated Artist (1 star review)
Please avoid this album and any 2pac album. I used to think 2pac was a great rapper because I was blinded by his "Thugish" attitude which I thought was very cool when I was young and dumb. As I grown up, I learned the real deal. I sat down to listen to some of his records, then I was shocked at how wack his music is. Please avoid.
Get in touch with your inner thug (1 star review)
Hey. Yo. This is for all the ladies. Sometimes, whilst relaxing at my spacious loft townhome, I feel the urge for some THUG LUV. That's when I carefully place this 2pac Greatest Hits compact disc compilation in my new german hi-fi, crank it up and let the inner Freudian thug in me get out and dance like a madman. Be warned, you will feel a range of emotions thanks to 2pac's Greatest Hits, and the "Brenda Got a Baby" tune never fails to extract a lonely tear from my eye. Being so maudlin was never so hardcore and thuggy. I only wish my fine-pressed cotton trousers came in uber-slouch style.

An indispensable and definitive collection showcasing the passionate genius of the late rapper. The album's nonchronological sequence highlights the contradictory impulses that made Tupac's music so commanding; the 21 well-loved "hits," some slightly reedited for legal reasons, are accompanied by four previously unheard songs. Of the new material, the raw-sounding "God Bless the Dead" has been the subject of the most speculation, owing to its subject matter: a eulogizing of the late Notorious B.I.G.--a mysterious feat, since Tupac was killed six months before Biggie. And, making its first proper appearance on a Tupac album, the B-side "Hit 'Em Up" stands as the most intense outburst of pure venomous rage ever captured on tape. Whether he's waxing political, philosophical, or just plain paranoid, Tupac's empathetic, charismatic style remains unmatched. --Charley Gothic
