2x4basics AnySize Table or Bench, Green, 10210

These are great as benches. I would not suggest making them more than five feet long however. The instructions say you can make them up to eight feet long, but as a bench this would only work if no one ever sat in the middle and I can't imagine why anyone would want an eight foot long table that was 15-inches wide. I made four benches each four feet long. I used pressure treated lumber and the hardware provided. Assembly was easy and the finished product looked and worked just as I expected. Be advised the finished furniture is quite heavy.

Exactly what the package promised. Used cheap wall studs, finished with an outdoor stain, and it looks great!

this is a well constructed product. Just as the company described and very easy to put together.

Maybe it is just me, but when I purchased this item, I thought I was getting everything I needed. It was only after I purchased that I read customer reviews (I should have read it first) and realized I had to go buy and cut the wood. I did finish it and it is quite nice. So, I guess the description deserves the 2 stars, but the finished product and ease of construction gets 4 stars. It took me quite a while to get it put together...I had trouble getting the screws in straight.

So far this product has worked great. It was easy to assemble as the instructions were clear. I recommend using pressure treated wood or cedar for the 2 X 4's.

I recently purchased this product from Amazon, installed and colored (Green oil paint). It is an added beauty to my back yeard - very easy to install - just took 45 minutes for me to complete the installation and paint. I am very happy about the product.

Suggesstion:
When you purchase 2X4s, please make sure they are seasoned well and straight. If the wood is not seasoned good enough, you will experience bends at later point.

Another suggesstion is, limit the length of the bench to 4 feet. It looks great and strong.

All in all it is a good product and I highly recommend!!!
